Martha does not remember when she first learned to paint.  Perhaps her mother, Gallery owner,  Eleanor Grace Martin was sitting at the kitchen table and Sue asked if she could use her mothers brush.  "Let me paint!" That could have easily been her first art lesson.

Martha's paintings exhibit a joy of color and design.  Her favorite medium is watercolor.  She retired in 2007 from Sherrod Elementary in Arlington - where she gave hundreds of young students their first art lesson.
