Martha
Sue Meek
is one of the owners of the gallery
and a professional artist. She
retired
in 2008 from teaching art at Sherrod Elementary to teach and paint at
The Upstairs Gallery.
Starting this summer,
Sue is planning a series of art sessions to take students
on a journey of
exploring various mediums and drawing techniques. The
objective will be to complete several paintings during the
sessions.
(Rumor has it
that Peggy Martin and Emiko have asked Martha for this class and
she has finally given in - come enjoy this fun art experience!)

Bring your own fine and regular black
Sharpies. Index paper provided. Acrylic paints, brushes, collage papers, old
papers. In June we will work on hot-pressed watercolor paper. In
July we will work on a canvas. August use whatever surface you choose. |
